Great minds wanted: prudsys announces dates for DATA MINING CUP 2017
Save the date: Starting on 5 April 2017, students from around the world will put their data mining knowledge to the test in the DATA MINING CUP. The internationally renowned competition focuses on a practical task in the field of intelligent data analytics.
The DATA MINING CUP (DMC for short) will kick off in the spring of 2017 with a tricky problem in the field of intelligent data analytics. For 18 years, prudsys AG has been inviting student teams from around the world to solve practical data mining problems. The ten best teams will be recognized at the prudsys personalization summit, the leading event for omni-channel personalization in retail. The top three teams will also receive attractive cash prizes.
Interested students have six weeks to submit a solution to the DMC problem. Prospective participants can register their team for the competition starting on 8 March. DMC 2017 starts on 5 April with the announcement of the task and finishes on 17 May when solutions are submitted. Prizes will be awarded to the winners on 27/28 June at the prudsys personalization summit 2017 in Berlin. In addition to exciting presentations about successful projects as part of a personalized customer journey, participants can look forward to panel discussions, in-depth workshops and a showroom featuring interactive examples of practical applications of real-time personalization in retail.
